Dr. Anand, who has given such congratulatory ‘pats’ to thousands of young women throughout her career as a social entrepreneur, doctor, and educator, was recently honored at the inaugural Annual Heroines of Health Awards ceremony at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
