HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER?
Originally, I first heard about CU Denver when I did an Auditing class during my undergrad with a professor at Assumption University who is also an alumni of CU Denver Business School. He shared his valuable experience with the school and his life in Denver which inspired me to come here. After I decided to go back to school, I looked at options for an AACSB-accredited graduate business school and for a degree program that I could finish within a year. CU Denver stood out as one of my top choices.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO ENROLL IN THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER?
I come from a less developed part of China, I didn’t know very much about American universities before I came to the U.S. The reason I chose the University of Colorado Denver was because it gave me a teaching assistant position. I really appreciated this kind of trust. After I came here, I started to realize it was such a wonderful choice since the people in Colorado are so nice, and Denver is so great to live in every way.

“In our class we realized we all spoke multiple languages and had international travel backgrounds, so we decided to use that to connect international students with domestic students across campus,”
said Tess Farmer, a student in the University Honors and Leadership (UHL) capstone class. Farmer said the team initially struggled to come up with a project idea, but their shared global interest—and using it to encourage fellow students to check out the many cultural events on campus—gave them a strong focus.
